HITS: Haul It There Sensei

An Atlanta-first platform for the jobs that fall between delivery apps and full moving services.

HITS connects people who need furniture, appliances, marketplace finds, and other oversized items moved with independent local haulers. GR Designs is building the brand and product experience as part of a founder-led venture, from public demand capture through the customer, hauler, and admin workflows.

The challenge

A two-sided marketplace has to make the job clear for customers and worth accepting for haulers. HITS needed a distinct brand, a simple way to describe small-haul work, and an operational product that can handle requests, matching, evidence, status, and trust.

What we built

  • Brand and launch site: A black, bone, and gold identity with clear customer and hauler paths, a founding waitlist, and a haul preview experience.
  • Customer booking flow: Item details, pickup and drop-off information, photos, quotes, and order visibility designed for the realities of moving oversized items.
  • Hauler experience: Separate onboarding, available-job views, acceptance, pickup and drop-off steps, and photo evidence.
  • Operations foundation: Role-specific access, admin review and pricing tools, job lifecycle tracking, and a performance-based belt system under pilot testing.

Current stage

The public site is collecting early interest in Atlanta while the marketplace app continues through testing and refinement. This case study documents the product architecture and pilot build; it does not claim commercial launch results.
